From 1 July, DeWaterbus will also sail to Fort Lillo and Liefkenshoek

DeWaterbus will add two stops to its northern Scheldt route as of 1 July, namely Lillo and Liefkenshoek. The employees of terminals and port companies on the left and right bank will thus have a valid travel alternative to and from the north of the port. Besides this, two new vessels will ensure a reliable service, with an extended capacity of 140 to 150 passengers.

The distinctive blue tires of Swapfiets bike now also graces electric bicycles. You can cruise through the city on Swapfiets Power 7 for a fixed monthly fee. This qualitative e-bicycle has been fitted with a Bosch mid-drive motor and a powerful, removable battery. The service can be cancelled at the end of every month and the fee includes maintenance at home or in a bicycle shop.

Resident can receive a subsidy to use MaaS apps

To promote shared mobility and “Mobility-as-a-Service” (MaaS) in Antwerp and increase the number of users, the City has drawn up subsidy rules. Residents are eligible for a 10% reimbursement of their MaaS subscription (capped at 50 euros a month). The City hopes this measure will encourage residents to use them more often and consider other transport options.
